NOTICE: I am not updating this page anymore, since I'm now only playing Neverwinter. I will leave this site up in case it is helpful, but it will not reflect expansions, additions, rule changes etc.
This is my guide to the best EverQuest sites. This site consists of: the main resource chart, a chart of other useful sites, and finally a chart class-oriented sites. If a slot is blank in the first chart below, either the site at the top of the column does not offer that information or it is not so good, in my humble opinion. If you have suggestions--or if you find broken links--shoot me an e-mail!

| Attributes/Abilities: | For descriptions of the effects the attributes (strength, wisdom etc.) have, see attributes by EQ Stratics, EQ Insider's attributes page and abilities by EQlizer. |
| Bind Locations: | See Binding in Norrath by EQ Atlas for the locations where casters and non-casters may be bound, including the locations of soulbinders. |
Buying/Selling Items: |
Allakhazam has classified ads and links for trade/auction sites. |
| Chat Abbreviations: | Ever puzzled by what someone says? Check Allakhazam's chat terms or the EQ Glossary by Talies the Wanderer. |
| Class Titles: | A simple chart of class titles (for example: druid, wanderer, preserver, hierophant). |
| Con Messages: | Allakhazam provides a list of con messages (threateningly, warmly etc.) by level. |
| Deities: | The official site's Deities page describes major and minor deities, and EQ Stratics has a Deity Reference Chart. |
| Disciplines: | For info on these special abilities of melee and hybrid classes, see the Treatise on Disciplines by the Seekers of Lore. |
EQ Stratics has a printer-friendly list of emotes and commands (/bow, /time etc.), and Allakhazam has separate emote and command lists. Also see Macros below for other lists of commands. |

| Epic Quests: | For information on the epic quests, see Epic Quest Adventures and Everlore's epic quest boards |
| Equipment Effects: | Though not complete (where are the Elder Spiritist Vambraces, for example?), EQlizer offers a list of equipment spells/effects and which weapons and armor produce them. |
| Etiquette: | Yes, etiquette counts. See FatherMatt's own guide to EQ etiquette. |
Experience Tables: |
To tell how many MOBs to kill for that next level, see these experience tables. |
| Faction Improvement: | If you are evil and want to improve your faction, see Anezka's Faction Guide for specific strategies. Also take a look at a post by Jijuna/Asuran on quick faction raising for those who can Snare. (See also Faction in the chart above.) |
| Guilds: | Everlore has a guild database which lists all the EQ guilds, and Playervault has an EverQuest guild search. |
| Guild Software | Guild-Builder and Guild Boss offer software to manage a guild; there is a fee for use. Player Vault is free, though it is much more basic. |
| Hunting: | To see where to hunt for your level, try Allakhazam's zone level chart, the hunting guide by level from EQ Atlas, the EQ Insider hunting database and Everlore's zone level statistics. |
Jewelry: |
Casters Realm has the jewelry chart and jewelry/metal vendors list. |
| Keyboard & Other Commands: | See EQ Stratics' Basic Commands. Also see Loral's Guide to Everquest Usability, which has many ideas on customizing your interface to make the game more enjoyable. |
| KOS chart: | To see which races will kill you if you enter their cities (unless you have changed your faction), see this EQ Vault chart. |
| Leading a Group: | See FatherMatt's own tips for leading a group. |
| Links : | Hibix offers extensive links, and EQ Maps provides some good links as well. Also see the EverQuest Top 100 Sites and Links in the first chart. |
| /loc Command: | For info on using the /loc command, see the EQ Atlas /loc Guide. |
| Locations: | EQ Maps offers a list of key locations (zone entrances, rings etc.) with coordinates; you may want to print this and keep it handy. |
| Luclin Armor | EQ Druids has a list of Luclin armor quests by class. |
| Luclin Passage | For basic information on traveling to Luclin--and initial spell and vendor information--see FatherMatt's own Passage to Luclin. |
| Luclin Requirements | Sony has a listing of the minimum and recommended requirements for Luclin; scroll down to see them. |
For basic info on macros, see Everlore's Hotkey/Social Bar Guide. See The Library of Talies the Wanderer for commands for macros; these are also available from EQguild.net. (These lists are perhaps more macro-oriented than the lists in "Emotes/Commands" above, though only the latter list the all-important /cast command! Bah!) |

| Mana Calculators: | Casters Realm offers mana calculators that calculate mana based on intelligence and on wisdom. |
| Manual: | You can download the official manual for EverQuest here. |

| NeverWinter: | For information on NeverWinter Nights, check out FatherMatt's NeverWinter Nights Tower. (No, this is not related to EQ, although it is AD&D.) |
| Newbie Help: | Have a friend just starting EverQuest? Make sure they do the CD-ROM tutorial and change the auto-attack key from "a" to something else. (To reset this go into the options menu and look for keyboard options; then look for the auto-attack key set up.) Then point them to Allakhazam's newbie guide, the EQ Atlas newbie guide, and the EQ Stratics beginners guide (and possibly to "Chat Abbreviations", "Etiquette", "Keyboard Commands", "/loc Command" and "Tips & Hints" in this chart). |

EQ Maps offers an NPC database searchable by type, race, class. |
| Official (Sony): | Oh, all right: here's the official Sony EQ site, including Sony EQ news and the oft-visited customer service and support, aka troubleshooting. |
| Patch History: | For the latest patch message, see Sony's patch message page; CastersRealm provides a patch news history listing all the patches by date (click on each date for the details). |
| Pet Commands: | Planet EverQuest has a list of pet commands. |
| Ping/Trace | Use the EverQuest Trace utility to check the speeds of your connection. Also see The Meaning of the Lag Bar, by Markemp the Wanderer. |
| Raids (Planes): | Sign up for Plane raids at Rordan's EverQuest Event Planner. |
| Research: | Check the Mythiran Tower at Allakhazam for information on research; Casters Realm has research information as well. |
| Resurrection Deadline | The resurrection deadline is three hours of account time. See the description (scroll down) on the Resuscitate spell in CastersRealm, for example. |
| Roleplaying: | Scrolleth down to "A Guide to Conversational Britannian" to learnst how to speak in the older tongue and roleplay! (Yes, I know this was done for UO but it works well for EQ too.) |
| Search Engine: | Jibantik offers a search-engine devoted to EverQuest. See also "Site Search" below. |
| Servants of Mystery | One of the original (AOL) Neverwinter guilds still in existence today...and my guild. The famed "fireballing midget" graphic gives some idea of the primitive graphics available at that time for online games. The guild may be found on the Cazic-Thule server. Server Status: |
Everlore offers the ever-popular server-status site, and Sony lists the network status and the scheduled downtimes. |
| Site Search: | Everlore also offers a full site search, as does EQ Atlas on the left side of its home page. (You'd think they'd all have this!) See also "Search Engine" above. |
| Skills: | Everlore's skills list describes all skills (combat, magic, other), and it offers a chart of when each class acquires a skill; there are also listings of skill caps by class at Casters Realm where you can also click a specific skill and see its cap formula. Finally, Casters Realm offer an explanation of the complicated Luclin skills . |
| Specialization: | See the Casters Realm specialization page for recommended specialization areas, and Everlore's article on specialization for procedure (be sure to read the comments below this article). |
| Starting Cities | EQ Atlas has a rundown on starting cities. |
Text Colors: |
EQ Stratics offers instructions on how to modify your text colors. Casters Realm offers a color wizard which is more automated. |
| Tips & Hints: | For tips and hints, see Allakhazam's Gameplay Tips (although the first one is a bit odd) and FatherMatt's Odds & Ends. |
| Tradeskills: | At EQ Traders you can learn a skill, see the "recipes" for each of the trade skills, and track down elusive supplies with the trade supplies finder. EQ Trade Skills is another good trade skills site. (Also see "Trade Skills" in the first chart above, and "Trivial Tables" below.) |

EQ Druids has a list of Velious armor quests/gems; locations where the Velious armor gems drop are at Retrofied. Also see Allakhazam's page on Velious Armor information. |
| Voice Commands: | Yes, believe or not, EQ can be operated with voice commands, listed by Casters Realm. |
